 COURSES

Courses will go over OIC Trzin and nearby forest. You are free to choose the appropriate category for yourself.

CHILDREN COURSE - 990 m / 20 m - 13 controls. Appropriate for children under school age. Children can go accompanied by their parents. Tapes will mark the route.

D - 1070 m / 40 m - 8 controls. Appropriate for beginners and younger children (example: until 12 years).

C - 2460 m / 90 m - 11 controls. Appropriate for those who are familiar with basic orienteering techniques (ex.: until 15 years)

B - 3710 m / 140 m - 14 controls. Appropriate for all "recreational" orienteers and also those who don't know orienteering well, but like some more adventure (ex.: until 18 years and over 40).

A - 4360 m / 165 m - 20 controls. Appropriate for all those who like challenging courses and those who like to compare themselves with the best (ex.: between 18 and 40 years).

 START LIST

The start list is available, ordered by clubs and by categories. Competitors in category CHILDREN can start at any time.

 ENTRY FEES

For registered before 28.10.2006: 7,50 € (categories A, B, C), 5 € (category D)

For registered after 27.10.2006: 12,50 € (categories A, B, C), 10 € (category D)

Kids course: FREE

SI-card rental: 2,50 € (not needed for kids course)

Every 11th competitor from the same club, registered before 28.10.2006, is registered for free!

 LABYRINTH

After the main competition the best 4 women and the best 4 men in each class will have an opportunity to participate in a special event - LABYRINTH.

All 4 competitors will start simultaneously from each corridor. At the start they will get a map with the course in labyrinth. The controls will be marked with training markers. For punching punchers will be used.

At the finish there will be a set of 4 cups. The biggest cup will be on the top of the others. The winner of the group will be the person who will take the biggest cup. Times will not be taken. First two in each group will be classified in the next race. The best will try their luck 4 times when we will get the winner of the LABYRINTH.

Labyrinth will be in size of 6 x 6 meters made by stakes and tapes. It is forbidden to pass over the tapes and to punch the controls out of the order presented on the map.

Look on the images of the labyrinth which was made for the Slovenian school orienteering championship in Moste near Komenda.

 AFTER FINISHED EVENT

You can convert your weekend to an orienteering weekend by participating also at the event in Gorizia - Nova Gorica, One Map - Two Cities (http://www.fisofvg.it/iniziative/2006/gare/crcs/gorizia.asp, http://www.orientacijski-klub-ng.si/), on Sunday, 5th of November, 2006. For accommodation get information at website of the organizer FISO FVG.
